Tobi Becerra is a director of philanthropic strategies for Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity that has helped donors support more than 357,000 nonprofit organizations with $61 billion in grants.1 The mission of Fidelity Charitable® is to grow the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple, and effective. Ms. Becerra joined Fidelity Charitable in 2019.
In this role, she is responsible for providing Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors with guidance, insight and solutions to meet their philanthropic goals. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Ms. Becerra was a senior philanthropy advisor at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she was responsible for guiding the philanthropic vision and implementation of grantmaking programs for donors, sector-related education events, donor engagement initiatives and community partnerships. Before that she was a principal gifts academic liaison at Santa Clara University.
